Bulk Delete Chats for ChatGPT privacy policy
Last updated: November 5, 2026
This extension does not collect or share any data.
- It runs only on chatgpt.com, and only after you click its toolbar button.
- To show your list of chats and to delete, archive or unarchive the ones you pick, it sends requests to chatgpt.com, the same requests the ChatGPT website makes when you do this yourself. It uses your existing ChatGPT login session in that tab.
- Your chat titles, your login and everything else stay in your browser. Nothing is sent to the developer or to any other party.
- No analytics, tracking, cookies, ads or remote code.
- The only thing it stores is a "rating prompt shown" flag in your browser's local storage for chatgpt.com, so it asks you for a rating at most once. The flag contains no personal data and never leaves your browser.
- When you install the extension, Chrome opens a welcome page on bulkdeletechats.vercel.app. When you uninstall it, Chrome opens a short survey page there; its address includes the extension's version number. These are ordinary web pages opened by Chrome and hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs; the extension sends them nothing else. If you choose to answer the survey, your answer is stored without your name, IP address or anything else that identifies you.
This extension is not affiliated with OpenAI. To ask a question, use the Support tab on its Chrome Web Store page.
